All students start with the basic course, COLOR, COMPOSITION AND CREATIVITY. This first course is taught using pastels. Students may then advance to the next level where they have a choice of mediums. Lessons are geared to each individual’s artistic needs. The basic level course also includes drawing instruction if needed, or students may opt to start with six weeks of focusing on drawing.

The basic level course begins with exercises developed by the instructor to teach the three components of the title of the class. Students may then progress to representational or abstract/experimental painting incorporating what is learned in the basic exercises. This course is for all levels and is guaranteed to improve your art work.

Alice has taught at the Visionary School of Arts in Stuart, Florida for thirteen years and previously taught for seven years at MMI Preparatory School in Freeland, Pennsylvania. She is currently writing a book on her teaching methods. Her paintings have appeared in numerous books and magazines and have been accepted into regional, national and international juried shows all across the United States. Alice has won numerous awards for her work, and her paintings are in several corporate collections and hundreds of private collections. She is a signature member of the Philadelphia Water Color Society and the Pastel Society of America and has been inducted into the Master Circle of the International Association of Pastel Societies.
